コメント (0), 最近、自作PCのマザーボードを変えたあたりから、オーディオ沼にずぶずぶとハマりかけている。, オーディオ周りはまったくの素人だったが、１つのパーツを調べて購入すると、新たな知識やより上位の製品の知識が手に入り、それが更なる沼に沈めていく要因になっているようだ。, ●MSI MSG X570 UNIFY（30,000円）https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07ZSMH133PCのマザーボードサウンド用にRealtek ALC1220、DAコンバータ用にESS SABRE 9018Q2Cというチップが内蔵されている。どちらのチップも高性能らしい。https://www.gdm.or.jp/review/2019/1214/330263/4ここがオーディオ沼のスタート地点だった。, ●Yamaha Yas-109（24,000円）https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07TCDMKR2ホームシアター系の5.1chのサウンドバー。PC用のスピーカーとして光デジタル接続。長年モニター付属のスピーカーを使用していたのだが、音の厚みの違いというべきなのか音質は雲泥の差だった。なお、Yas-109には音質が良い／悪いの両極端の評価があるようだ。個人的には良いと思うが、音の好みや聞く耳は人それぞれなので注意。ちなみに、Yas-109はAmazon Echo搭載しており、PCがなくてもAmazon Musicと連携して音楽再生ができる。コマンドも組めるので「おはよう」「おやすみに」などに、天気予報、予定表、照明、エアコン、Amazon Musicを組み込んで使っているがとても良い。, 特にアマゾンミュージックでは「眠りの曲」「目覚めの曲」のような曖昧な設定なのに適した音楽を流してくれる。あと、ネットワーク上のメディアサーバーとも繋がるので、よく聞く音楽はUSBメモリーに保存して、ミュージックサーバー上に保存している。Yas-109を買って以来、オーディオ沼へ浸かる速度が加速し始めた。, ●TOSLINK 光デジタルケーブル 1.8m(698円)https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B00NH11H38Yas-109は、Bluetooth、HDMI、光デジタルの何れかの接続手段を用いて、PCと接続する。最初に期待したHDMIケーブルは、PC・Yas-109・ディスプレイの間をINとOUTの2本のケーブルでつなぐと、Yas109をサウンドデバイスとして認識しなかったり、ディスプレイの解像度がおかしくなったり、AMD Radeonとの連携がおかしくなったりと、速攻で挫折。Bluetoothでもよかったのだが、Yas109はマルチペアリングに対応していないので1つの機器しか接続できなさそう。その1台をPCにしてしまうと、スマホなどを接続できなくなりそうで諦めた。こういったことから、光デジタルケーブルが一番無難だった。ただ付属の光ケーブルは1mしかなく、長さが足りず、これを買った。, ●DENON AH-D1200(15,000円)https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07BRTBRXVドライバ50mm、密閉型、ダイナミック型、ハイレゾ対応、有線ケーブルのヘッドホン。VGPという評価団体で、3万円以下の部門で何度か賞を取っている。オーディオ沼にハマっている人は5万10万のヘッドホンを使っていることも多いと思うので、高価には感じないだろうが、私から見ると、これまでは5,000円前後のヘッドホンを使う時期が長かったので、十分高価な範疇。D1200は、モニターホンでなくリスニングホンなのか、音質がクリアーというよりも、優しい感じの音がするような気がする。素人なりとも過去10本以上のヘッドホンを変えてきた経験から、音の遮断性は間違いなくトップクラス。ただし先日視聴したSONY WH-1000XM4のノイズキャンセリング機能と比べると、XM4が上だろうなぁ～。あと、音漏れも歴代トップクラスで少ないかな。側圧はやや強めだけど、長時間つけても疲れたり、痛くなったりしない。本来なら、これでオーディオ沼は打ち止だったはずなのだったが、「バランス接続」とやらができるヘッドホンだったので、ここからさらに沼が広がっている。, ●オーディオテクニカの3.5mmプラグの延長コード1m（1,200円）https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B008BMX12IAH-D1200のケーブルが1.3mしかなかったので購入。現状のヘッドホンを取り巻く環境や音質を考えると1.3mは適切なケーブル長なのだろうが、私のように自作PCに取り付け、椅子にもたれかかったり、チョットした用事のため移動するには、2ｍは欲しいな。, ●Topping DX7 Pro（66,000円）https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07YJFPJZJ中華製のヘッドホンアンプ（≒USB-DAC）。注文確定から2週間経つが、まだ手元に届いていない。販売代理店からは9月下旬に出荷といわれているので問題ないが。はじめは国産メーカーのヘッドホンアンプ（≒USB-DAC）を選びたかったが、ここ3年程、国内海外含め旧来からのメーカーの新製品はほとんど登場していないうえ、全体的に新興中国メーカーが台頭しているように見える。国内だと、2016年後半に発売されたDENONのDA-310USBが新しく見えてしまうぐらい、国内メーカーからは新たなUSB-DACが出る気配がない。※10万円以上は除く。特に、私が最初に設定した購入条件である「予算2～3万円」「3年以内に販売」「バランス接続」「ESS 9018Q2よりも新しいチップもしくは上位チップ 」となると、新興メーカーを含め、ほぼ皆無。そんな中で妥協しながら、FIO-K3、iFi ZEN DAC、FOSTEX HP-A4、FOSTEX HP-A4BLなどは、一度は「買おう」と心に決めてアクションを起こしたが、何らかの不満、入荷待ち、価格の高止まりなどがあり購入に至らなかった。そのような中で、これを見つけて、機能、搭載チップ、販売方法、レビューアーの情報などで一目惚れしてしまった。具体的には、以下のような点が気に入った。・ESS 9018Q2よりも新しくて上位クラスで評価も高いESS 9038 Proを搭載・フルバランス(らしいが本当か？HP上に掲載された基板を見ると…)・XLR だけでなく、4.4mmのバランス接続のジャックあり(後述の赤橙が直接続できる‼)・SRCやAPXやLDACなどを使って、Bluetoothからの接続可能（スマホからの接続が便利）・オペアンプ交換を公認（こういった改良には興味あり）・Amazonに出店する新興中華メーカーが良く使うサクラ レビューアがいないように見える・国内でのレビュー数は少ないが、amazonのレビューアーが情報提供してくれたので多くの欲しい情報が収集できた, 一応海外の評価も見たが、概ねよさげな評価でもあった。ただ、米国(? This is a unit that could either be used as an all-in-one desktop solution or integrated into a stereo system and would look equally at home in both. Its signature is near neutral with a bump in the upper midrange. The bass is fully present and accounted for when necessary but with clinical control. In single ended mode the highs extend well and they never sounded harsh, sharp or sibilant. General: You get a different kind of sound in balanced mode, with overall better dynamics, improved spaciousness and better layering. First of all, let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the headphone out impedance. At the bottom of the unit you will find the voltage switch, there’s nothing also on the top or the sides. Neutrality, balance, clarity, speed, energy and precision are the key characteristics for this unit in this mode. The sound stage width is very good, the depth is just as good but there still is room for improvement for what layering is concerned. I think the beyerdynamic DT series are all single ended only as the plug is a three pin plug. At the same time the linearity, precision and natural presentation to me are not as good as in SE mode. The fact it can remember the individual volume levels of the headphone output and line output is a big deal for me because I’m always switching between headphones and speakers.
